Dr. Paul M. Creer

Utah Valley Endodontics

dr creer Dr. Paul M. Creer is a native of Utah and graduated from Springville High School.  He attended Brigham Young University (BYU) on baseball and academic scholarships and served a 2-year service mission in Spain and Northern Africa for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  

Dr. Creer graduated Magna Cum Laude from BYU with a BS in Biology and received his dental degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude.  He was also chosen as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.  While in dental school, Dr. Creer was heavily involved in endodontic research, presenting his findings at national dental meetings for organizations such as the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), American Association for Dental Research (AADR), and the International Association for Dental Research (IADR).  He was chosen to represent dental students nationwide at a collaborative meeting at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Institu-
te of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) in Bethesda,
Maryland.  

Dr Creer on the Air Force Jet Dr. Creer was commissioned as an officer in the Air Force Dental Corps in 1998.  After dental school he was chosen as one of only three residents to attend the intensive Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at David Grant Medical Hospital, Travis Air Force Base, California.  After completion of the AEGD program, Dr. Creer practiced general dentistry at Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico.  

He completed his endodontics residency through the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.  After completion of his residency, Dr. Creer was assigned as Chief of Endodontics at the AEGD program, Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas.  While at Sheppard he was responsible for teaching the clinical and didactic aspects of endodontics to the AEGD residents.  He was chosen as Company Grade Dental Officer of the Year for his service.  

Dr.  Creer in Machu Picchu Peru Dr. Creer separated from the Air Force at the rank of Major in 2007 and returned to Utah to join Utah Valley Endodontics.  He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), American Dental Association (ADA), and the Utah Dental Association (UDA).  He resides in Springville with his wife and four children.  Away from work, Dr. Creer enjoys running, swimming, camping, and traveling with his family. He recently completed marathons in Athens, Greece and Machu Picchu, Peru.
